How to Hook Your Readers

Hi, @David Farland  here to talk to you about hooking your readers.

Every Tuesday I’ll be answering questions from authors like yourself about the writing craft.

Today’s question comes from a member of my daily e-mails who asks, “How many hooks would be too many for an opening scene in an upper middle grade book?”

James A. Owen is founder and executive director of the art and design studio Coppervale International. More than a million copies of his publications are in print, and are sold all over the world.
